Before Binding a Case Over, Explore all Options at Municipal Court

Binding over your case for trial by jury should never be made without exploring the chances to obtain a reduction of the most serious charge or charges against you.  An experienced attorney who knows the personnel in the Municipal Court your case originates in will know what to do. 

The municipal courts within Fulton County serve as an important “filtration” system whereby most cases get resolved quickly and (sometimes) for a “better deal” than you can reach through negotiation at Fulton County State Court.  However, with some types of charges (particularly those dealing with drug possession charges by a minor or driving offenses of a person under age 21) may be more favorably handled by the Fulton County State Court.
